Chester the Dog needs a home
Chester is a very sweet hound dog! He gets along great with the resident dog in his foster home, and loves to play with toys, especially toys that are tough enough he can chew. He's very respectful of human belongings, and hasn't tried to chew a single thing he's not supposed to. He knows how to sit and is currently working on lay, stay, shake and spin; he is also completely house trained. He loves his walks, and does pretty well with a harness on. He sleeps through the night in his crate without an issue, and is doing well in his crate for 4-5 hours during the day without any accidents; we are working on slowing increasing that. Once he gets his exercise for the day (which he does need, 1-2 walks per day and plenty of play time), he's perfectly content curling up on the couch and cuddling with anyone that will let him lay on their lap. He has good manners and is respectful of people and other dogs. His previous foster said he is great with kids, but not good with cats. He's eager to please and ready for his forever home!
Chester's adoption fee includes: full veterinary exam, neuter, prepaid microchip, dewormer, Rabies vaccine, Distemper combo vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 4DX, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
